Motion Picture Solutions, the leading international film services company, is proud to announce that our business has been identified by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as one of its “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” in the LSEG’s respected annual report that showcases the UK’s most dynamic, fastest-growing enterprises.
To be selected for this list, businesses must significantly outperform their sector peers and demonstrate high growth potential. First launched four years ago, the “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” report has quickly become acknowledged as the definitive guide to those leading SME businesses that form the engine of the UK economy.
MPS’s chief executive, Howard Kiedaisch, said “To be included in such a peer group is a tremendous accolade for MPS. It reflects the hard work and passion that our team has put in over the past 12 years, as well as the faith in our services that is shown to us by our customers. Companies cannot apply to be included in this report. Your performance has to be recognised by LSEG in comparison to your peers — and that makes this accolade all the more meaningful.”
MPS’s president Matt Aspray has been instrumental at MPS in helping the film industry to transition to digital cinema. On the company’s recognition, he commented: “To have been identified ahead of others in the technology sector thanks to our success and consistent growth is an achievement of which everybody at MPS can be justifiably proud. Like the other companies listed, it is in no small part down to our reputation as innovators and disruptors. Our congratulations go to others selected, too — the report includes one or two of our own customers and business partners, so we are enormously honoured to be in such good company.”
The report receives cross-party political support and the backing of the UK’s major business bodies. As one of just 30 companies profiled in the report, MPS was invited to attend a reception at No10 Downing Street on Wednesday 10th May, at which Xavier Rolet, CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group, stated: “The ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report continues to highlight the dynamic, entrepreneurial and ambitious businesses across the country that are boosting UK productivity, driving economic growth and creating jobs. These companies are the very heart of an ‘anti-fragile’ economy: more robust; more flexible and less prone to boom and bust.”
